What Eleri is
Eleri is an independent consumer platform. We publish what buyers report about products, shops and brands, together with the evidence they provide, and we give businesses a way to reply and to challenge evidence. We do not sell the products, take payment for them, or guarantee any transaction.
Reviews are the opinions of the people who wrote them. Verification means we checked that a receipt or invoice exists for the purchase — it does not mean we independently tested the product, and it is not a statement of fact about a business beyond what the evidence shows.
The licence
You keep ownership of your review and your evidence. By posting, you give us a licence to display the review and the masked evidence, and to include the counted facts from your purchase in anonymous statistics.
What "counted facts" means
Numbers and controlled labels only: the amount, the currency, the month of the transaction, the shop, the brand, the product, the category, the payment channel, the outcome, the resolution outcome and how long it took, and any specification test recorded against the product. Nothing else.
The floor
A statistic is published only when it covers at least at least 20 purchases across at least 5 different shops. Below that the figure is suppressed. Totals are never published in a way that would let somebody work out a suppressed figure by subtraction, the same question is not answered twice from two slightly different angles, and every release is recorded against the dataset version it came from.
What the licence does not permit
- It does not permit anyone to identify you from a statistic, and licensees may not try.
- It does not include your review text, your name, your number, your receipt image or your individual purchase.
- It does not permit a licensee to publish the counted facts as its own data product.
- It does not give any business a say in what a statistic says.
- It does not permit a payment company to refuse you credit on the strength of a shop's band — that decision needs a human and its own lawful basis.
- And it is not exclusive: whatever we license, we remain free to publish the same finding ourselves, free, to everyone.
Your choices
The counting can be turned off — now, or at any point — in Settings → Privacy. Posting requires accepting these terms and the privacy notice; the counting does not.
Turning it off stops all future counting. Figures already published from a fixed past period stay as they are, since they describe purchases made before you changed your mind. Your receipt shows the version of the wording you agreed to and the date you agreed to it.
What you agree not to do
- Post a review of a business you own, work for, or are paid by.
- Upload a receipt you did not receive, or alter one before uploading it.
- Use the platform to threaten, extort or bargain with a business.
- Scrape, resell or redistribute reviews, evidence or statistics.
- Impersonate another person, or a business you do not represent.
Breaking these can cost you the review, your account and any trust score attached to it. A review found to be fabricated is not merely removed — the outcome is recorded, because the record is the product.
For businesses
Claiming a page lets you reply, respond to cases and challenge evidence. It does not let you edit, reorder or remove reviews, and it never will. Challenging a review puts it in front of a human adjudicator; the reviewer is told, and can appeal the outcome.
Changes
When these terms change in a way that affects what we may do with counted facts, the wording version changes and we ask again. The version you agreed to is on your receipt, and the version in force is printed at the top of this page.
